You can predict that mid of April the buzz around Mother’s Day gets to start.
Most of them also fairy predictable.. Do they hit a nerve? Probably yes. Are they distinctive? Probably no – at least with the eyes of an advertiser!
I am sharing only one example which you might have seen already as it generated quite some buzz in Social Media.
An alltime classic are the Dove examples – it is impressive how they fuel their existing ad idea of real beauty since 2004. This one is from my pov not their strongest example as here also the insight of modesty plays into the choice – but anyhow – again an example which was heavily discussed on Social Media, so target probably reached anyway!

How to better convince than just demonstrate?
A clever example of Audi for its Laserlight technology.
The word „probably“ rings a bell and reminds you of Carlsberg? Absolutely right so, fantastic reaction of Carlsberg to a shitstorm against Protein World in the UK - probably the best ad placement in the world...
The next example convinced me mostly because of its technique – and the many more possibilities it can offer to advertise.. From a content point not really distinctive but how it is used surely is.
This made me smile big time – the boring topic of street safety solved in a smart way.
Wish all traffic lights were like this!

Technology can be as advanced as it can – the human being is the one who is not free of mistakes. So no matter what – to make you drive safer is something technology might not be able to entirely solve. So what a clever insight of Volkswagen to adress the topic!
